Randi Rose & Melody: One Foggy Morning

I remember waking up. I always open my windows and look outside. I remember not being able to see the fence that lined our backyard. The clouds lowered to say hello. I texted some friends to see if anyone would like to be adventurous and meet me at a spot so I can take some pictures of them. Randi Rose responded quickly with a yes, showed up in her beautiful layers, and had Melody ready to go. We got there just before the fog completely lifted.  

60's For Fun. Y'all

I learned so much doing this session. If I was given a do-over there are lots I would change. But I needed a day like this. I was free to make mistakes and have lots of imperfect things happen. The girls... they were amazing! My hair and makeup stylist and friend, Jessica Cannon, & I have been talking and dreaming about teaming up to try different things. She wanted to try new "60's inspired" hair styles and make up trends and I wanted to capture it. Go to Jess... she's a gift and her talents are rare to find in this area. My mother was a gift as well. She helped me construct the floral wall pieces and get the room set up. We went for two different looks; a whimsical hippie and a Twiggy inspired look. Time spent together was good and sweet.
